At the End of a Great Volleball Season..
So, my volleyball career is officially over... and I am so sad. I had such a great 2 seasons at Mt. SAC. I could not have asked for a better group of girls and coaches. Over the past year and a half, I bonded so much with all of these girls, and I just can't believe it's over. So, here are some pictures of us at our team sleepover and then our end of the year banquet. Enjoy! there are a lot of pictures so beware, haha!
Here are all the sophomores minus1
I am going to miss ALLLLL of these girls so much! Too much :(

The L.A. Sparks Game!!
Last Thursday, we were fortunate enough to get a pair of FREE VIP tickets to the L.A. Sparks game at the Staples Center!(The Sparks are a WNBA team) This is how it happened... My trainer is a basketball fan, and she's friends with a lady who works for a radio station and gets free tickets. She gives some of those tickets to my trainer(whose name is Cassandra), so one day Cassandra is telling me that she has tickets to this game that was that night. Well we had plans that night, but I told her that if she got tickets for anymore games she should let me know because Sean and I would love to go. Sure enough, a week or two later she asked me if we were open for Thursday night, and we were! So she gave me a pair of tickets that were for a suite. We were feelin like royalty because we went into the Staples Center through the VIP entrance, and we rode a really nice elevator with one of those elevator guys to escort us to "Level C". Then we walked around a really nice hallway to get to the suite, where you had to scan the tickets to get in. We didn't watch the game from the suite, BUT we met Cassandra there and she gave us PRACTICALLY COURT-SIDE TICKETS. It was sweet. We were the first row behind courtside, Row A. It was so much fun. They played the Orlando Dream but lost by about 10. It was a good way for Sean to take a break from school and the stress that comes with it.
VIP YO!! What what!

Our 2 Year (and 1 Week) Anniversary!
It has now officially been 2 years since Sean and I have been married. I can't believe it! We have come so far. It's been quite the journey going from under-grad and working up in Davis to Pharmacy and Mt. SAC down in Pomona. Our marriage has grown so much in the past couple years. I'm so incredibly grateful for the hard work that Sean puts in towards our future. I know he doesn't think I care, but really without his efforts and ambition, we would be really shakey right now. There are no words to express what he means to me. Since we've been married, my love has just grown so much for him. He makes me laugh and keeps me happy when I need it. He is such a sweetheart. I am so forgetful, and he always picks up my slack (unfortunately for him..). He has been such a blessing in my life, and without him, I would not be where I am today. And that's the TRUTH! Sean, I love you so much, please be patient with me. I know it's hard because I'm so insanely ditsy. I hope to be the best companion for you that I can be. You definitely deserve it.

Summer Days
So, Sean and I have been going to the beach as much as we can this summer. We've never lived so close to the beach, and it is SO nice to only have to drive 35 minutes to get there. We usually go to Huntington Beach because it's the closest, and my sister and brother-in-law live there. Sean loves to take his days off and relax at the beach. Plus, he wants to get nice and tan for the girls ;).

Hey everyone! So, Sean is now done with school for the summer, and he's really happy about that. A couple months ago he applied for a position for the summer as an intern at a hospital in West Covina. Everybody at school wanted the position. There were even students from USC that wanted it. But it turns out that Sean dominated the competition and got the job! I'm so proud of him! He is such a hard worker, and he's at the top of his class at school. So, he's been working there now for a few weeks and he really likes it. On a typical day, he makes IV's and works in the downstairs pharmacy. And he also, goes up to patients' rooms to check their charts and medicinal dosages and if those dosages need to be adjusted he makes the adjustments. What he likes most about working is the fact that he can come home and just relax and not have to think about anything until the next time he goes to work. With school he was constantly worried about tests and quizzes and always studying!
As of yesterday, I'm also finally done with school! I had two finals: a History final and a painting final. For my history final my friend and I studied all night! And my art final was to do a painting of whatever picture and whatever style we chose, and we had 2 weeks to finish it (believe me! that is NOT enough time for me to finish haha). So this is the painting that I did. It's in pop style, which means you don't blend anything. It's not done, I still have to finish the necklace, the lips, and parts of the skin, so hopefully I can get that done now that I'm done with school for a while. :D

Hard Work!
This Memorial Day Sean and I drove up to Bakersfield to visit the family. What Sean didn't know was that he would have his work cut out for him. It turns out my parents fence was recently blown over, so the men were put to work rebuilding it.
Look at that leveling job! They swore it was just cuz the level was broken.

Dad, making sure everything is just right. It took him a while to get those nails out. .
While the boys were out working their tails off, the girls hung out in the house, and prepared an amazing Memorial Day BBQ for everyone. Unfortunately I was too busy eating my delicious dinner to remember to bring out the camera for that part. :(
Sean's back isn't feeling too great from all the hard work though. And to make things worse, he started his summer hospital job the next day! But he's very glad to be out of school for the summer. Now he can just relax and watch the basketball game when he comes home. GO LAKERS!!!

Official Wedding Photographer!
Hey everyone! So, I'm really excited and nervous at the same time because I have officially booked my first paid wedding! Last Saturday was the engagement session. Going into it, I was a kind of apprehensive about how it would go. I was a little worried about whether or not I would meet thier expectations and seem professional. I went through the shoot in my head about a hundred times that day before we went over there. Just to make sure we knew what all the settings should be on the camera, Sean and I did a little mini-shoot outside our apartment. We didn't want to have to worry about it when we got there.
Sean (as my assistant :D) and I went to a park in the evening and met the couple. They turned out to be really nice. Overall, I think that my first shoot had some minor glitches that need to be fixed next time, but I think we got some decent pictures out of it. After we took pictures the couple, Orlando and Sandy, took us out to dinner. So that helped us get to know them a little better and that always helps. Now hopefully I'll be more comfortable with them for the wedding which is on July 18th.
So, we've posted some of the finished products on our flickr page for them to look at, and now we're just waiting for them to pick their favorite. Here are some of the ones that I think turned out the best. Let me know what you think! :D

Bree Coaching her Girls
My team had our San Diego tournament on March 1st. They are a great group of girls with a lot of potential, and I'm looking forward to seeing them improve. Our team is called San Gabriel Elite Volleyball Club and they are all 12 and 13 so they still have a ways to go.
They didn't do as well as they should've in this tournament(they took last place), but they came back on March 9th and took 2nd place. Yay!

Due for an Update!
Alright, it's been kinda busy around here the last couple months. Sean has had school as usual. I had my Winter Session at school. So, we basically haven't had much time to get on here, so I'm just going to give everyone an overview of what we've been up to :).
First of all, I wanted to mention that Sean received STRAIGHT A's last semester! I'm so proud of him. He works way too hard. Lately, he's just been studying and playing videos games. He bought himself a new PS3 so he's excited about that. He seriously loves the thing. Sometimes he'll play it allll day, Haha. He just went snowboarding the other day, so he got a little break from the stress of school.
As for myself, I just finished my Winter session at Mt. SAC (Mt. San Antonio College), and so far I know I have two A's... it was a tough semester and I'm glad it's over! I'm also coaching a club volleyball team right now. My girls are mostly 12 and 13 years old and they are great. In our last tournament we placed 1st! So I was really proud of them.
And I think that's it for us right now at least. I'll try to be better at keepin' you guys informed. One last thing though. I wanted to express my excitement for Brian and Mandi's pregnancy!!! They are so lucky! I seriously cannot wait to be an Aunt!
Alright, guys. Until next time! :)
