33 Weeks at Christmas Time

Well, I'm about 33 weeks pregnant, and I'm feeling huge! I've gotten to the point wear it's uncomfortable to bend over and tie my shoes. I've been working on my baby shower registry, so I'm feeling a little more prepared. I'll be sending out the invitations this week. Also as you can see in the picture, Sean and I went out and got our Christmas tree :D I love Christmas time! Yay! Happy Holidays everyone!

Our 3D Ultrasound!

Here are some of the best pictures from our little one's first photoshoot! Haha! Some of the things the ultrasound tech was saying during the ultrasound were: "Awww, look at those cheeks! So cute!" "She has long eyelashes. For me to be able to see them that well at this point is unusual." "She is going to come out and look just like a little doll." "She's a happy baby." "She has hair." "She has really long legs!" "I just can't get over those cheeks!" So hopefully that means she's a cutie. It's kinda hard to tell by these pictures cuz they have distortion and stuff, but I think she will be perfect! My favorite is her little button nose :O) Enjoy!

Here's one of my favorite pictures.. Resting on her little arm! ♥

This is the clearest shot

Puffy face!

Awww!

There's something kinda in front of her face but she's smiling in this one! lol

And this one her eye is wide open! Definitely not as good as Shanti's of little Spencer though, that one was crazy!

Her cute little hand!!!

We can't wait to meet her in January! ♥

New Belly Shots and our Big Ultrasound!

So our big ultrasound was on the 3rd, and we were SOOOOOO happy to find out were are having a baby girl!!! Both of us wanted a girl first, so we couldn't be happier. My mom, my sister Heather, and our little niece Avery came out for the appointment. It was so fun to see our baby being active and moving around everywhere on the screen. At one point, she put her little fist up and started rubbing her eye! It was the cutest thing I've ever seen! As far as names go, we are not sure on any. A lot of people have been asking me if we have one, but I don't think I'll know for sure until pretty close to the end of January when she comes. I can't wait to get her cute little dresses and bows. She's going to be a complete girly girl as long as mommy's dressing her haha! I just feel a little overwhelmed at how much I need to buy for a new little baby. I am really going to need some experienced baby shopping partners, so if anyone's game then I would be super appreciative.

Here's our little girl's first headshot :) I wish we could've gotten a profile, those are cuter

Her little hand, balled into a fist

Me at 23 weeks (I pretty much popped in the last few weeks)

I can't wait to hold my baby!!

Happy 3rd Aniversary!

Sean and I have been married for 3 YEARS now!! Time sure does fly! Sean, I love you so much, but you already know that :) I'm so proud of your hard work and accomplishments. I talk about you every opportunity I get because I'm so proud to tell people you are my husband. I always want you with me when I go places, whether it's going to church or visiting family or just going to the store because you are so special to me, you give me strength when I am shy, and you can always make people smile. I can't wait to watch you become a wonderful daddy. And yes, you have to go on "daddy daughter dates" ;)
To celebrate our 3 years together, I surprised Sean with concert tickets to Jason Mraz and Dave Matthews Band! It was lots of fun! Here are some pictures from Sean's phone (Camera's weren't allowed in the arena):

Before the concert

Everyone else had beers, we had a snow cone :)

I also wanted to post some pictures I just found of our sealing at the LA Temple! They are so great because we just look so happy. And we were! It was such a wonderful day, and I'll never forget the feeling that I got being sealed to Sean for time and all eternity.

I love you Sean

Cancun: Day 7

On our LAST DAY, Sean, Brian, and Mandi went for a quick morning workout (I was sleepy :) ). Then we all headed for the pools one last time! Our shuttle to the airport left at Noon, so we grabbed a quick lunch (tacos from our favorite Los Tacos) and then headed for home.... Needless to say, we weren't ready to leave. There was so much that we wanted to do but just didn't have time.....Well, there's always next time :D

Looking acceptionally ripped after a good workout

It was still pretty early so we had the whole pool to ourselves!

It was cool because the infinity pool just looked like it dropped off right out to the ocean (see 3 pictures above^)

Leaving the resort! :(((((

What an awesome vacation! I had so much fun with my hubby and with Mandi and Brian. We will definitely do it again!

Cancun: Day 6

On the morning of our Second to last day ( :( !!), Mandi and I went to the spa! We both got full body massages and facials, and for both of us it was our first time getting them. Yay for being pampered! Then all of us took a bus up to the Strip where all the big resorts are. We ate lunch at the Beach Palace and then walked down to the beach. The water along the whole coast here was GORGEOUS! It was so nice to swim in too because it was nice and refreshing but not too cold like California beaches. The only thing was the waves were so big I had to hold my suit in place! Haha! So then we walked down the beach to another resort and then we got back on the bus and headed back to the Moon Palace. For the rest of the day, Sean and I took the camera out and took pictures around our resort. For dinner, we ate at the Japanese place again because it was SO good. Sean didn't order sushi this time ;).

Cancun: Day 5

On day 5, we went to the ancient city of Tulum. Poor Sean almost wasn't going to go, but he bucked up and decided he would. What a trouper! It took about an hour and a half on a bus to get there, and Sean was not doing very well. Luckily we stopped at a little souvenir place halfway that had bathrooms. It was funny because there was a man standing outside the bathrooms that was passing out paper towels and there was a little tip basket next to him! Haha! Anyway, so we got to Tulum and stuck with our tour guide for a little bit, then we got to go down to the beach and swim in the beautiful water. Sean sat on the beach, but Mandi, Brian, and I went swimming. It was great because it was so hot. But then all of a sudden, a tropical storm hit us and the lifeguard made everyone get out of the water. At this point, Sean was ready to go, so he told us he would meet us back at the bus. The rest of us stuck around as long as we could to take pictures and look around. That's when it started raining REALLY hard. We were almost getting blown over by the wind, and the rain and sand were pelting us so hard it stung! So we decided to head back to the bus. In the mean time, Sean was trying to find a bathroom, but the first one had no doors on the stalls and you had to pay for a couple little tiny squares of toilet paper! The second one.... let's just say it was the nastiest bathroom he had ever seen but it was free so he had no choice. Anyway, so then we get back and we think we've lost Sean, so me and Mandi were looking everywhere for him. But it turns out he was on the bus the whole time lol. The second part of our trip, they took us to a jungle resort where we ate lunch, swam and looked at all the animals they had along the paths. What an adventure!

Cancun: Day 4

On our fourth day, we went ziplining! It was super fun. We didn't realize how huge the course was (like 12 really high towers) until we got there! After ziplining, we got back to the resort and asked if we could be moved to the newest part of the resort called the Moon Grand. The rooms here were alot more spacious and luxurious! Once we got situated in our new suites, we ate lunch at a little place called Los Tacos and it was really good! Then we swam for a bit in the pools, had a little sushi, and then went to get ready for the evening. On this night, we had dinner at a nice Japanese restaurant that Mandi and Brian couldn't stop talking about. They said they ate there twice when they came on their honeymoon, so we were really excited to try it out! The food turned out really good. Me, Mandi, and Brian got chicken teppanyaki, and beef teriyaki and Sean got shrimp curry and a couple pieces of sushi. For dessert, I got a fried banana and Sean got Fried icecream. An overall great dinner experience.......That is, until about 4am the next morning. Turns out, Sean got really bad food poisoning from the sushi that he ordered! We knew that's what it was cuz nobody else got sick. ¡¡Pobrecito!!

Ready to embark on our extreme Zipline adventure!

Cancun: Day 3

Day 3 was even more of an adventure! In the morning we ordered room service for breakfast because we has to leave super early for our trip to the island of Isla Mujeres. We took a boat from the mainland and the crossed turquoise waters to get to this little island. When we got there we spent time at an Island resort where we ate breakfast, cooled off in the pools, rode water tricycles and kayaks on the beach, and me and Mandi got henna tattoos (they supposedly last 3 weeks, but they started fading within a couple days... :/ ) After spending a few hours there, we got back on the boat and went to another part of the island. It was sooooo sooo hot when we were walking around there, I seriously felt like I was getting heat stroke. So we decided it would be fun to rent a couple scooters and drive around the island! And by the time we got back it was time to get back on the boat to head back to Cancun.

Room service anyone?

Toooo early!

Cancun: Day 2

On our second day in Cancun, we spent the whole day out by the pools, tanning, swimming, playing games in the pool, & ordering poolside Virgin Piña Coladas!!

Sean scoring on Brian (actually no one could really score on Brian.. )

My failed attempt to score

For dinner, Sean and I dressed up in our matching preppy outfits haha! What nerds..

Pop ya collaaaa!

The ceilings in the lobby were gorgeous! We had to take a pic

On this night, we ate at El Caribeño. It was caribbean food, which was mainly seafood. I ordered a halibut steak, and Sean ordered Jambalaya. Yum!

Sean taking a bite of this massive shrimp! Eyes, antennas and everything!! (he didn't really eat it)

Sean ordered 2 desserts! Fried chocolate banana and a delicious banana chocolate mousse

We stayed in the Pantera suites, so we thought we'd take a pic by the sign

Our Cancun Honeymoon! Day 1

Get ready for lots of pictures! Finally I've compiled a photo journal of our long awaited Honeymoon. So as most of you know, we went to Cancun in July with Sean's sister Mandi and her husband Brian. Our plane took off at around 5:30 on a Tuesday morning, and we didn't arrive in Cancun until about 4 or 5 O'clock in the afternoon. This was my first trip outside the US, so it was weird to think that I had just set foot on a whole different part of the planet! It was hot and humid but not unbearable. We took a shuttle from the airport to our luxury resort, the Moon Palace! We settled into our rooms and spent the rest of the evening walking the grounds, and having dinner at one of the 14 different all-inclusive restaurants. The real fun would start the next morning!

Here we are on the plane ride, happy to finally be on our way to Paradise!

Sean got a whole row to himself on the second plane!

Just arrived!

Entering our luxury suite for the first time :)

The room was so nice! All marble floors, big comfy bed!

One of the all-inclusive amenities that came with our room haha! Too bad they collected dust all week :)

As you can see, our room had a huge spa tub. Sooo relaxing!

This was the ocean view from our room

And here is our midnight snack from our first night! We got this from a little bakery in the lobby that turned out to be our favorite snack spot for the week :) Since all the food was free, we ate like crazy haha And Sean found his favorite drink on the first night, it was a Virgin Strawberry Colada! (the pink one above)

Here's a pic of Sean at the bakery :)

My pregnancy at 3 months

Ok, so I've gotten way behind on my blog, but what's new haha! I'm going to attempt to catch up so stay tuned :) So I got an ultrasound just before I hit 12 weeks, and the doctor printed out this cute little pic of our baby!

You can see the little hand saying hello and a little foot on the left side of the pic. At least that's what we think, the doc didn't go into much detail

And here I am a couple days later in CANCUN! I'm 3 months along here :)

Pregnancy for me has been pretty easy! I'd say I'm one of the lucky ones because aside from a little bit of nausea I haven't really had any pregnancy symptoms. It's wierd because my sister had a really hard time throughout her whole pregnancy, so I thought I would be the same. I guess I've just been blessed. Either that or I'm having a boy haha! Here's a list of things I've been craving while I've been pregnant:
1. Cheese!
2. Cheeseburgers with ketchup and mustard
3. Anything with mustard
4. Sweettarts
5. Sour Punch Straws
6. Any kind of salty, fatty, fried foods (sooo nutritious)
7. My mom's Taco Salad
8. Deli Sandwiches
9. Italian food with lots of cheeeese
Etc...

Here's a list of what I will NOT eat now that I'm pregnant:
1. Chocolate! Yuck :P (Normally I like chocolate)
2. Pretty much anything sweet (with exceptions like sour sweet)
3. Any sweet and salty mixtures like trail mix
4. Nuts
Etc...

So having said all that, I'm going to do a gender poll. It's on the right side of the page. Let me know what you think we're having! We find out September 3rd! YAY!

Pregnancy and Vegas Trip

So, many of you might already know that we are pregnant again, and this time all is going well! We went in for our first ultrasound a couple weeks back and heard our little one's heartbeat for the first time. The doctor said that everything looks good and my next visit is in 3 weeks. Right now, as you can see by our little ticker up on the top right corner I am right about 9 weeks :D I'm feeling pretty queezy throughout the day, but mainly I am just soooo tired! I feel like I can't get anything done 'cuz I can't get myself up :( Luckily I hear it gets a little better once you hit your 2nd trimester, so I'm looking forward to that. We also went to Vegas again recently, and below are some pictures from our trip:

Sean and I did lots of laying out by the pool and swimming 'cuz it was SUPER hot!

We got to go watch the Laker game and have dinner with Spence and Shanti! It was so fun!

Here, I'm playing the Spin & Win game that was outside our hotel. We won $10 in free slot play so Sean decided to try his luck hehe :P

We won 26 bucks!! So we went to Cafe Rio and used the money to pay for a delicious lunch! Yum yum!

Our first beach trips of the year!

Hey everyone! Long time no blog! Just thought I'd update everyone on what the Fischer's are up to these days. Sean and I are both trying to finish up our school year. I'm in the middle of Spring semester and taking anthropology, Japanese, and the usual volleyball. I'm also coaching my little volleyball team still, they are really fun! I've also been taking a BUNCH of pictures. I'm trying to build my portfolio so I've been doing portraits for friends. Some of them are up on my new photoblog, if you wanna go check them out and let me know what you think the address is briannakphoto.blogspot.com. All of my pictures are on my new flickr though so that's a better spot to check: flickr.com/photos/briannaphoto. I'll be putting some more pics up soon. As for Sean, he's doing well in his classes but he can't wait to be done. He just had spring break so we went on a few trips out to Huntington Beach to get our tan on! We've gotten some color so thats good! Gotta be ready for the summer! Here are some pics of our latest beach trip. We played out on the beach then searched the sale racks along Main St. Then we had some yummy burgers at Duke's :P

We pulled over to get gas and I was bored, so I took a pic! Cheeese!

I love my baby!

Another great day for Sean and Bree :)

Gettin' Sexy

So after we found out Bree wouldn't be huge and pregnant this summer we decided to get her a gym pass at my gym. I get a year pass through school for $29 and was able to add her on for about $149. I have had a pass to the gym since I started school here but haven't been once! I knew I'd be much more motivated to go if I had someone to go with me, and Bree was the obvious choice :) We quickly realized though, we had nothing to wear to the gym. So we took a trip to the Nike outlet and I got a couple pairs of basketball shorts and Bree got a couple pairs of running shorts.
Since we started going we have been hard-core! We go almost every night from 10-12, and have only missed when Bree was either in horrible pain or we were out of town. It's been about 2 1/2 weeks and I've lost 5 lbs and Bree has lost 4. We start our routine off doing our thing for about an hour then we meet up and do abs and run. Mikey T hooked me up with some intense routines that have left me unable to extend my arms at the elbow or raise them above my head afterwards. Bree is in far better shape than I am and she easily does her mile every night. I struggle with my asthma and old age during my mile and fight through those last tenths. We love going though and I'm excited for the day when Bree doesn't giggle and snicker when I take my shirt off!

Better Luck Next Time

Hey everyone, for those of you who don't already know, I just wanted to let everyone know that the pregnancy didn't stick :(. But, we're alright. We're still young, and we have plenty of time :). I figure everything happens for a reason, and we just have to trust that Heavenly Father has a plan for us. Thanks for everyone's concern and support.

Our new baby niece!

I just wanted to let everyone know that my sister, Heather, just had her baby on Sunday night!! Her name is Avery Michelle Norton, and she is super adorable! She came a month early but she's doing great and will be ready to go home on Tuesday :D

Vegas Getaway!

So over the Martin Luther King holiday weekend, Sean and I decided on a whim to get away to Vegas for a couple days. It was so fun! We left at around 8:30 on Saturday night and drove 3 hours to the border. We figured we should just stay somewhere cheap if we were just gonna get there at midnight, so we stayed at Whiskey Pete's. To be honest it was pretty nappy, but we weren't about to be picky. The next morning we got up and went to the outlets and shopped around before we headed to Vegas. When we got to Vegas, we used Sean's handy iPhone as a GPS to find CAFE RIO!! My favorite restaurant! It was deeeeelicious. If you ever go there, you have to get the Pork Barbacoa salad with creamy tomatillo dressing! Simply amazing :D Anyways, so then our trip proceeded as follows:
In front of our favorite stip hotel, where we stayed when we got married :)

Our room

A wonderful view of the parking lot!

Pretty!

Shopping at the Venetian

I LOVE the lions at MGM!!! :DDD (I don't look very excited, but don't be fooled)
We found a nice little inexpensive restaurant in Planet Hollywood to eat on Monday

The perfect sunset to the perfect getaway :)

We had a MAJOR shopping spree, and here's a picture of everything we bought while we were there! Needless to say, we won't be buying much for a while haha!

The Final Chapter

Here it is, the final entry to mine and Sean's love story(for real this time :D)... After that strange night that the question of Vegas was posed, I started to think about it... A LOT. Everyday it seemed I would think about what Mom would say when I came home to her with such overwhelming news. Sean and I discussed it constantly. There was a lot of "Are you sure you want to do this?" "Well, what if this.." But, everytime we had this discussion, we always returned to the same conclusion. We loved each other. We knew this was what we wanted, and being apart from one another was not an option. After shopping for affordable rings for a few weeks, we eventually found the perfect pair of modest but beautiful rings for us. Finally, the day came... Monday, September 4, 2006. We had it all planned out and now was the time to close our eyes and take the leap. Driving up to Vegas was nerve-racking but equally exciting. When we arrived, it was about 3:00 in the afternoon, and after getting our marriage liscense's, we walked hand in hand down the street on our way to the courthouse. We were stopped halfway by a man in a jazzy white hat and slacks who asked, "Are the two of you getting married at the courthouse today?" When we nodded he proceeded to tell us that his chapel does the same thing, but it was $5 cheaper AND we would receive 24 pictures! We looked at each other and decided "WHY NOT?" So we made our way into the chapel and after filling out some paperwork, we stood face to face, sending winks and smiles, and promised our lives to each other. And that was it... he was my husband and I was his wife. Scary?? No, of course not. It was the best decision I've made so far in life. The rest of our time in Vegas was spent lounging at the pool in the Monte Carlo sipping Virgin Piña Coladas, walking the strip, shopping, and, well, you know :P. And one thing was certain.. we could not stop smiling.

Summer Love

Here is the last entry to my series for my personal romance novel(alright, I don't think it quite meets the qualifications for a novel but its the closest I've come). So after working on the river with the guy who had crossed my mind so many times over the past year, whose name I soon found out to be Sean Fischer, we started to hang out outside of work. The first movie we saw together was Superman Returns. And we didn't go together. We just went with a group of people, and we happened to sit next to each other. I spent about an hour trying on clothes and doing my hair for that outing. Nothing seemed to be acceptable. Everything I tried on was junk. I ended up wearing a really cute shirt that my older sister had accidentally left at the house. While we were awaiting the start of the movie, sitting in the dark, I decided to try and make a little small talk with Sean. So I turned to him and said the first thing I could think of, "It's hot in here, isn't it?" Fanning myself a little. 'Wow, Bree' I thought, 'Way to look like a retard!' But to my surprise Sean seemed to think differently. "Yeah, you are hot..I mean!..." Then he gave a little sly smile. This definitely made my night, and throughout the rest of the movie, I felt just like a ten year old girl because I kept stealing quick glances at him and flashing rosy smiles. So we started to hang out on a regular basis. Going to lunch, hitching rides out to the river, watching movies. Pretty soon we started to get pretty exclusive. We saw each other everyday without fail. One night, while Sean and I were watching a movie at his house, Sean says to me, "I've always wanted to get married in Vegas." I didn't think much of this, just that he seemed a little crazy. Then the conversation went on, and we were talking about how odd it would be to elope and come back and say, "We're married!" Then all of the sudden Sean says, "Would you go to Vegas with me?" He had an enormous smile on his face, and, of course, I figured he was joking. I just laughed and said, "You're weird." But he didn't laugh.... Was he crazy??? Find out in the next blog!!! (haha, I had you thinking THIS was the last one. No way joSE!!)

Chapter 3: A Bittersweet Reunion

Well, after that day on the river, I couldn't help but fantasize about the gorgeous river guide. A few times in class that fall, I found myself daydreaming about getting married and and having cute little babies with him. Having family picnics with a red and white checked blanket, lemonade, and mini sandwiches cut into triangles. Then I blinked, only to find myself back in English class. Very disappointing to say the least. As the year snailed on, I got lost in the stresses of school and oppressive boyfriends. Finally the month of May rolled along, and I was visiting the doctor for some old volleyball injuries. After the checkup he told me about a job that I might be interested in. He handed me a pamphlet for a river rafting company and told me to call and apply. Well, it turns out I got the job without even so much as a "What is your name?" I showed up for the first day and met some of the guides I would be working with. There was Darron, the owner of the company, Myron, Darron's little brother, and Justin.. It didn't take me more than a second or two to recognize him this time. It was the shorter guide that took my team out the previous summer. Oddly enough, this was the very same rafting company that the hot guy in the yellow shirt worked for! I was more than excited when I realized this. But my excitement was promptly extinguished when Justin told me that he was still up at school and probably not going to be working this summer. So a month passed and it was June now. One particularly horrible day, I got a ride with another guide, Jimmy, to the river for some work. I was feeling pretty sick, I had a headache and I was trying to ditch my recently dumped boyfriend. I suppose I shouldn't leave out the fact that I looked like a homeless hitchhiker, so you can imagine how horrified I was when we pulled up only to see the one guy I had been dying to see all year.. There he was. His tall toned body, white bandanna, unforgettable smile, amazing blue eyes. Every ounce of me wanted nothing else but to stay in that car, out of sight. I couldn't let him see me looking like that! After a minute, I found myself slipping out of the car, with my eyes to the ground, hoping that this would somehow keep him from noticing me... I had avoided him successfully for about 2 minutes, and then I heard, "Hey!! I remember you!" I looked up and saw him beaming at me. All I decided to say was "Ya.." I managed a slight smile. I didn't talk to him at all the rest of the day. As you might expect though, I definitely put in twice the effort to look my best after this... TO BE CONTINUED!

Chapter 2 of our Love Story

A good month and a half passed by that summer. The hot guy in the yellow shirt came up in more than a couple conversatioins between Harper and I. And needless to say, I was quite disappointed that there had been no sign of this mystery man since Pioneer Day. Well, summer had passed and I had moved on to the fall volleyball season. Conditioning was finally over (!!) and the cuts had been made for the Varsity team. Now, every year, the team goes on a little outing for a bonding experience, and this year Coach decided that we were going WHITE WATER RAFTING! Or something like it. So we made our way out to the east side of bakersfield in our school vans and came to the Rio Bravo resort where we were fitted for our lifejackets. When we got in there, several decent looking guys and a couple girls came out to help us. One of them I seemed to recognize, but I couldn't put my finger on what from. Anyway, then I saw a VERY sexy guy walk out to help. He was tall, very tan(I could very well see this because he had no shirt on.. wow), and he was wearing a white bandana on his head. And did I mention he was VERY cute. So we took the bumpy ride down to the river in an old, basically run down school bus. And after our safety talk, as we made our way down to the rafts, the guy I had semi-recognized walked up next to me and gave me a sideways, "Hey." "Hi," I said, thinking: Do I know you?? Then he reminded me about PIONEER DAY. It was the shorter guy that came and talked to us with the hot guy in the yellow shirt! "I KNEW I recognized you!" I beamed. Then it hit me.. The tall, handsome river guide that I mentioned was none other than THE HOT GUY IN THE YELLOW SHIRT! And it turns out that I was in their raft. As we floated down the river I got to see that he was not only really, really good looking, but he was also very nice and very funny. At the end of the day, I made sure to stand next to him in our little end of the trip photo. And I'm sure if you looked at that photo you would see how red my cheeks were. And it wasn't from the sun. :) I surely hoped that I would see him again. But the odds were definitely against me.... TO BE CONTINUED in the next blog!

Love Story

Hey everyone! So I think its about time I posted Sean and Bree's love story on here. Some of you have heard it, but this is for those who haven't. Here goes nothin'... :D

One hot summer's day, I had planned to go and sing with my dad at the annual Pioneer Day event at the Kern County Museum. So I went along with Harper Casimiro, a close friend of mine. On my shirt, was the very profound phrase: "I'M WITH THE BAND". Yes, the day was going well I suppose, with the exception of the scorching heat. It was nearly the end of the festive event, and Harper and I had probably circled the place around 11 times. It was getting a little hot, so we decided to find some shade. Pretty much all we could talk about was the unbearable heat. Then, my eyes strayed over to a nearby historic building where a couple people were having a friendly chat. As I turned my attention toward them, I could see that there was a very handsome, tall, tan, incredibly dreamy guy standing there. I turned to Harper and said, "Harper, don't look now, but there's a hot guy in a yellow shirt over there." Yes, it was love at first sight for the both of us. We realized that we had never before seen attractive til then. Then we came to our senses and realized that the heat had finally become ridiculous. We then planned a kind of devious plan. We decided that when we walked by those two guys on our way out to the parking lot, Harper would glance over to see if the hot guy in the yellow shirt was checking me out. So, we walked by and I utilized my best sexy walk. And sure enough, Harper turned to me and beamed, "OH ya, he was TOTALLY checking you out." So, we laughed our way out to the parking lot. All of the sudden, we hear someone yell. We turn around only to see the hot guy in the yellow shirt and his shorter, less attractive friend(HAHA just kidding justin). Then we had a little conversation, and they were trying to act like they knew us. But all I could think about was the hot guy in the yellow shirt. I kept quickly glancing over at him to see him smiling his gorgeous smile. I was too shy to talk to him. Hehe. then we parted our ways.... was I ever going to see the hot guy in the yellow shirt again???? Read on in the NEXT BLOG!!

School, work, study, work, study, work, volleyball, sleep.

This week has been a bit off the wall. Coming back from a nice, long, relaxing break and getting smacked in the face with Anatomy class is definitely a hard transition. My class is from 10:30 to 3:30 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Don't get me wrong, it's very interesting but it's a LOT. Even worse, I have to coach right after class on Tuesday's and Thursday's. Plus, I have to work in the school athletic training room right after class on Wednesday and allll day Friday. My only day off is Saturday but this weekend I'm trying out for the Cal Poly volleyball team during the day. Busy Week! Sean has a quiz tomorrow and next week so he's been studying and will be studying alllll weekend. Life in school is tough for a married couple. We get so stressed and sometimes it's hard not to take it out on each other. I feel like I definitely need to make an effort to be nice, so that Sean doesn't get even more stressed. Something that's also going to help us get through this is this new feature I found on my phone. I was looking at the calender on my phone and I discovered that you can set alarms for things you need to do throughout the day! Anyone who knows me can tell you that I am probably one of the most forgetful people on the planet(I've been told many a time that I would forget my head if it weren't attached). So, I've been planning my whole week out on my phone with different reminders at different times like "grab the checkbook" or "do the laundry". I've gotten so much done that I know I would've forgotten otherwise. Hopefully this will take some stress off of Sean during his endeavors to finish his classes. He works so dang hard. I am so lucky. I was just talking to my single non-member friend(she's my BEST friend, actually) who is in school, and she is so worried about the future. She doesn't know what she wants or is able to do for the rest of her life. She doesn't know who she will end up with or even if she will. She's scared about the world and knows it's coming to an end at some point. Her life is just such a mystery, and it scares her to death. I'm so glad I know what direction my life is going. I have a husband who I am excited to start my family with. I have the church that points me in the right direction everyday. I am going through school and earning a degree. I really feel like I don't have a whole lot to worry about. I know that the Lord has blessed me and Sean so much. I hope that I can help my best friend get her life together, and I hope that she sees someday that the church is the reason for my blessings.

Families are Forever

As the holiday season comes to a close, I'd like to express my love for my family. My happiest moments are with family. I'm so grateful for both sides of my family. I could not have asked for sweeter and more accepting in-laws. Sean's family is great! I feel so at ease in their home, like I belong. Thank you guys for all your love and support! And of course, I'm so grateful for my family. We have so much fun when we're together. I just wish we could be together more often. Here are pics of both sides of our family. The first is mine, and the second is Sean's.

The L.A. Sparks Game!!

Last Thursday, we were fortunate enough to get a pair of FREE VIP tickets to the L.A. Sparks game at the Staples Center!(The Sparks are a WNBA team) This is how it happened... My trainer is a basketball fan, and she's friends with a lady who works for a radio station and gets free tickets. She gives some of those tickets to my trainer(whose name is Cassandra), so one day Cassandra is telling me that she has tickets to this game that was that night. Well we had plans that night, but I told her that if she got tickets for anymore games she should let me know because Sean and I would love to go. Sure enough, a week or two later she asked me if we were open for Thursday night, and we were! So she gave me a pair of tickets that were for a suite. We were feelin like royalty because we went into the Staples Center through the VIP entrance, and we rode a really nice elevator with one of those elevator guys to escort us to "Level C". Then we walked around a really nice hallway to get to the suite, where you had to scan the tickets to get in. We didn't watch the game from the suite, BUT we met Cassandra there and she gave us PRACTICALLY COURT-SIDE TICKETS. It was sweet. We were the first row behind courtside, Row A. It was so much fun. They played the Orlando Dream but lost by about 10. It was a good way for Sean to take a break from school and the stress that comes with it.

VIP YO!! What what!

This is Sean chillin' in the VIP

Our 2 Year (and 1 Week) Anniversary!

It has now officially been 2 years since Sean and I have been married. I can't believe it! We have come so far. It's been quite the journey going from under-grad and working up in Davis to Pharmacy and Mt. SAC down in Pomona. Our marriage has grown so much in the past couple years. I'm so incredibly grateful for the hard work that Sean puts in towards our future. I know he doesn't think I care, but really without his efforts and ambition, we would be really shakey right now. There are no words to express what he means to me. Since we've been married, my love has just grown so much for him. He makes me laugh and keeps me happy when I need it. He is such a sweetheart. I am so forgetful, and he always picks up my slack (unfortunately for him..). He has been such a blessing in my life, and without him, I would not be where I am today. And that's the TRUTH! Sean, I love you so much, please be patient with me. I know it's hard because I'm so insanely ditsy. I hope to be the best companion for you that I can be. You definitely deserve it.

Summer Days

So, Sean and I have been going to the beach as much as we can this summer. We've never lived so close to the beach, and it is SO nice to only have to drive 35 minutes to get there. We usually go to Huntington Beach because it's the closest, and my sister and brother-in-law live there. Sean loves to take his days off and relax at the beach. Plus, he wants to get nice and tan for the girls ;).

Hey everyone! So, Sean is now done with school for the summer, and he's really happy about that. A couple months ago he applied for a position for the summer as an intern at a hospital in West Covina. Everybody at school wanted the position. There were even students from USC that wanted it. But it turns out that Sean dominated the competition and got the job! I'm so proud of him! He is such a hard worker, and he's at the top of his class at school. So, he's been working there now for a few weeks and he really likes it. On a typical day, he makes IV's and works in the downstairs pharmacy. And he also, goes up to patients' rooms to check their charts and medicinal dosages and if those dosages need to be adjusted he makes the adjustments. What he likes most about working is the fact that he can come home and just relax and not have to think about anything until the next time he goes to work. With school he was constantly worried about tests and quizzes and always studying!
As of yesterday, I'm also finally done with school! I had two finals: a History final and a painting final. For my history final my friend and I studied all night! And my art final was to do a painting of whatever picture and whatever style we chose, and we had 2 weeks to finish it (believe me! that is NOT enough time for me to finish haha). So this is the painting that I did. It's in pop style, which means you don't blend anything. It's not done, I still have to finish the necklace, the lips, and parts of the skin, so hopefully I can get that done now that I'm done with school for a while. :D

Sean hung it up in the house last night! :)

Hard Work!

This Memorial Day Sean and I drove up to Bakersfield to visit the family. What Sean didn't know was that he would have his work cut out for him. It turns out my parents fence was recently blown over, so the men were put to work rebuilding it.

Look at that leveling job! They swore it was just cuz the level was broken.

My baby is amazing with a hammer! He built a whole house by himself one summer!

My bro-in-law, Brian, getting down and dirty.

Dad, making sure everything is just right. It took him a while to get those nails out. .

While the boys were out working their tails off, the girls hung out in the house, and prepared an amazing Memorial Day BBQ for everyone. Unfortunately I was too busy eating my delicious dinner to remember to bring out the camera for that part. :(

Sean's back isn't feeling too great from all the hard work though. And to make things worse, he started his summer hospital job the next day! But he's very glad to be out of school for the summer. Now he can just relax and watch the basketball game when he comes home. GO LAKERS!!!

Official Wedding Photographer!

Hey everyone! So, I'm really excited and nervous at the same time because I have officially booked my first paid wedding! Last Saturday was the engagement session. Going into it, I was a kind of apprehensive about how it would go. I was a little worried about whether or not I would meet thier expectations and seem professional. I went through the shoot in my head about a hundred times that day before we went over there. Just to make sure we knew what all the settings should be on the camera, Sean and I did a little mini-shoot outside our apartment. We didn't want to have to worry about it when we got there.
Sean (as my assistant :D) and I went to a park in the evening and met the couple. They turned out to be really nice. Overall, I think that my first shoot had some minor glitches that need to be fixed next time, but I think we got some decent pictures out of it. After we took pictures the couple, Orlando and Sandy, took us out to dinner. So that helped us get to know them a little better and that always helps. Now hopefully I'll be more comfortable with them for the wedding which is on July 18th.
So, we've posted some of the finished products on our flickr page for them to look at, and now we're just waiting for them to pick their favorite. Here are some of the ones that I think turned out the best. Let me know what you think! :D

Bree Coaching her Girls

My team had our San Diego tournament on March 1st. They are a great group of girls with a lot of potential, and I'm looking forward to seeing them improve. Our team is called San Gabriel Elite Volleyball Club and they are all 12 and 13 so they still have a ways to go.

They didn't do as well as they should've in this tournament(they took last place), but they came back on March 9th and took 2nd place. Yay!

Due for an Update!

Alright, it's been kinda busy around here the last couple months. Sean has had school as usual. I had my Winter Session at school. So, we basically haven't had much time to get on here, so I'm just going to give everyone an overview of what we've been up to :).
First of all, I wanted to mention that Sean received STRAIGHT A's last semester! I'm so proud of him. He works way too hard. Lately, he's just been studying and playing videos games. He bought himself a new PS3 so he's excited about that. He seriously loves the thing. Sometimes he'll play it allll day, Haha. He just went snowboarding the other day, so he got a little break from the stress of school.
As for myself, I just finished my Winter session at Mt. SAC (Mt. San Antonio College), and so far I know I have two A's... it was a tough semester and I'm glad it's over! I'm also coaching a club volleyball team right now. My girls are mostly 12 and 13 years old and they are great. In our last tournament we placed 1st! So I was really proud of them.
And I think that's it for us right now at least. I'll try to be better at keepin' you guys informed. One last thing though. I wanted to express my excitement for Brian and Mandi's pregnancy!!! They are so lucky! I seriously cannot wait to be an Aunt!
Alright, guys. Until next time! :)
